Austin honored César Chávez, the civil rights and labor leader at the annual ¡Sí Se Puede! César Chávez March and Celebration at Parque Zaragoza in East Austin on Saturday.

Photographer René Rentería captured the inspiring moments of the 2023 community event for Austin Vida. The march and celebration brought together residents, elected officials, families, school groups, nonprofit organizations and more.
