Two of Austin’s most socially conscious Latin bands will take the stage to not only make you dance, but also provide a positive message. In addition to the live music offerings, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy food from The Smokehouse BBQ trailer on the back patio.

Austin-based Huerta Culture opens the showcase. The group mixes a variety of sounds from Latino rhythms such as Cuban son, salsa, Colombian cumbia and regga- fusion. The group refers to their sound as “psichocumbia reggaeska.” We think that pretty much sums it up. Huerta Culture perform at 10:30 p.m.

Austin-based hip hop duo Krudas Cubensi headline as the show serves as a homecoming show of sorts. The group have recently been on the road performing in support of their latest release, Levantate. Composed of Olivia Prendes and Odaymara Cuesta (Pasa Kruda), the Cuban born rap artists have been bringing Latina revolution style hip hop to the world since 1997.  Krudas Cubensi perform at midnight.
