Maria Del Pilar is about to embark on the Electronic Ladyland Tour. She helps anchor The Los Angeles Latin Alternative scene. The former Los Abandoned frontwoman who used to go by Pilar Díaz has been described as a Latina influenced Bjork. Part pop diva, part mystic dreamer, and all Los Angeles estyle, The Pachanga Latino Music Festival alumna paints a complex sonic for wonderland dancers and thinkers alike in both English and Spanish.
On Wednesday, July 30, The Electronic Ladyland Tour is coming to Austin at The Belmont. For the tour, María del Pilar will be joined by Gram Rabbit frontwoman Jesika Von Rabbit and indie-electro duo Okapi Sun. The best part? We will be giving away a pair of tickets to the show every week until the week of the show. That’s right…three pairs of tickets to giveaway and maybe more if you’re lucky.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. at the start of every week on Monday. That means a winner will be notified on July 14, 21 and 28. You only need to enter the drawing once. We’ll select ticket winners each week at random from this one entry list. Easy right? The winner will be notified via email from Austin Vida. Good luck!
The Belmont is located at 305 W. 6th Street. Doors open at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m. All ages are welcome. Advance tickets are available for purchase online here. Listen to music from the performing artists on The Electronic Ladyland Tour below.
