[8/16] Preview: Peligrosa ft. Chingo Bling at Empire Control Room & Garage

Last night at Premios Texas, rapper Chingo Bling won the award for best “Artista Urbano.” He’ll be celebrating in Austin tonight at Empire Control Room & Garage. It will be quite the event as Chingo will be joined by the Peligrosa crew spinning the best cumbia-crunk, bouncing bachata, delicious dembow, titillating tribal, saucy salsa and so much more.

Peligrosa is composed of Austin-based members DJ Orión, Pagame, King Louie, Manolo Black and Chorizo Funk. DJ Dus will be coming in from Corpus Christi and Sonora will be reppin’ San Antonio. Photos will be taken by official Peligrosa photographer ‘Quito and visuals will be provided by VJ 4th Wall.

Empire Control Room & Garage is located at 606 E. 7th St. Doors open at 9 p.m. 21+ are welcome. $5 cover. Peligrosa will be on the back patio if weather permits. Visit the official Facebook event page here.

[7/19] Preview: Peligrosa at Empire Control Room & Garage

Austin-based Latin DJ collective Peligrosa have not thrown down together since the Arts In Context documentary about the crew aired last month. Tomorrow night the crew is back at their old stomping ground at Empire Control Room & Garage, the former Creekside Lounge. Don’t stay home if you love Peligrosa as two members will be in Europe next month and no Peligrosa event is scheduled for August outside their solo gigs.

Peligrosa leader DJ Orión will be joined by Austin-based members Pagame, King Louie, Manolo Black and Chorizo Funk. DJ Dus will be coming in from Corpus Christi to spin with the crew. Visuals by Vj 4th Wall and photos by Peligrosa photographer Quito. Dance to the best of electro-cumbia, dembow, 3ball, salsa and more.

[6/21] Preview: Peligrosa at Empire Control Room & Garage

Austin-based Latin DJ collective Peligrosa have not thrown down together since South By Southwest in March. For most of this year, the crew has been grindin’ it out in the studio and performing with side projects or individually. Tonight that changes as five Peligrosa members will be spinning at the newly re-opened Empire Control Room & Garage, formerly Creekside Lounge.

Peligrosa leader DJ Orión will be joined by Austin-based members Pagame, King Louie, Manolo Black and Chorizo Funk. Visuals by Vj 4th Wall and photos by Peligrosa photographer Quito. Dance to the best of electro-cumbia, dembow, 3ball, salsa and more. Show up early and be ready to stay late as this is only the beginning for Peligrosa at Empire Control Room & Garage. Peligrosa will be there again on July 19.
