Vitera is performing in support of their latest album, ¡Súbete! and take the stage at 11 p.m.

Joining the showcase and closing the night out is Houston-based Dani Vargas Group. The instrumental rock-fusion trio formed in the summer of 2010. Founded by Chilean guitarist Danilo Vargas, the group also consists of musicians Moises Zapata (drums) and Carlos Soriano (bass). The group will be performing new songs from their new release Sound On Canvas.  Dani Vargas Group perform at midnight.

January 5, 2013 By Austin Vida Staff

Tonight Austin Vida is proud to present the first ever Movimiento Rockero Free Week showcase at Stubb’s. The locally based Latin Rock collective was founded in 2011 to raise awareness and support for the genre in Texas and beyond. What better way to start than with a Free Week showcase with Austin’s favorite group of rockeros, Vallejo.

The group was formed by Vallejo brothers A.J. (Vocals, Guitar), Alejandro (Drums), and Omar (Bass). Rockin’ since the mid ’90s,their music is a unique style of modern rock that incorporates Latin percussion and hints of blues. In the fall of 2012, Vallejo released their first new album in four years,  Brothers Brew.
