Pachanga partners with Whataburger for fundraising event to benefit HAAM

May 8, 2014 By Austin Vida Staff

WhataburgerToday the folks at Pachanga Latino Music Festival (Pachanga) will partner with Whataburger to host a fundraising event to benefit the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) at the burger chain’s 2305 Burleson Road location on the corner of Oltorf & Burleson from 5 p.m. – 7p.m. A percentage of proceeds from that location will be donated to HAAM. The event will also feature live a music showcase curated by HAAM featuring performances from local Austin artists and a chance to win an array of great prizes including free Whataburger for a year and 2014 Pachanga tickets. Pachanga will also match any money raised up to $500.

Pachanga Latino Music Festival takes place on Saturday, May 10, at Fiesta Gardens. This year the Latin-themed music, cultural arts and food festival will feature headliners Juieta Venegas, El Gran Silencio and more. General admission tickets are still available for $33. Patrons can also purchase VIP passes for $75, which provides exclusive access to the festival’s hospitality area, specialty taco tasting, and more. For more ticket information visit pachangafest.com/tickets/.
