Tonght it’s cumbia time at Tejano Ranch with Erick y Grupo Massore. While not a Tejano group per se, the red-hot Mexican family band returns to the Live Music Capital as a fan favorite, having played to bigger and bigger crowds in numerous clubs and festivals around town.
The Sanchez brothers from Coahuila, Mexico have been together since the mid-90s with brother Erick on timbales and lead vocals. In recent years, Tejano has tilted more and more toward more cumbia-based groups, and Massore really hit it big with Tejano fans in 2010 with the single, “La Inconforme.” Since then, they have been a mainstay at festivals and events all over Texas and the United States, with fans loving their youthful energy and hot beats and infectious rhythms.
Long story short: A lot of energy, tons of dancing, standing room only. Cumbias, cumbias, cumbias!
