On Sunday, October 12 at H&H Ballroom in South Austin, Tejano music fans will get a glimpse of future stars at the Tejano Idol Finale, presented by the Austin Tejano Music Coalition.
Now in its fourth year, contestants from all over Texas will perform in front of celebrity judges and a crowd full of fans, and compete for the opportunity to become the next Tejano music star.
The celebrity panel of judges includes Tejano music performers Patsy Torres and Braulio Rodriguez, along with Ray Sifuentes, radio personality Joe Morales and Marc Martinez of Freddie Records. The emcee for the event will be previous judge and Tejano star Shelly Lares.
H&H Ballroom is located at 4404 Brandt Road, just east of I-35 and between Slaughter Lane and Old Lockhart Road in South Austin. All ages are welcome for this event and the cover charge is $5 per person.
