[11/17] Preview: Braulio y Fuzzion at Baby A’s

On Saturday, November 17, Baby Acapulco welcomes back one of Austin’s up and coming Tejano groups, Braulio y Fuzzion. Quickly becoming an Austin fan favorite, the 8-piece band blends together young talent with seasoned veterans to create a sound that remains true to its Tejano roots with strong trumpet and keyboards, while drawing on influences from other genres as well. The band features not only a drummer, but a percussionist AND an auxiliary percussionist, which only means one thing: rhythm, rhythm, and more rhythm, so don’t forget your dancing shoes!

After parting ways with another Austin Tejano group, Son de Rey, lead vocalist/songwriter Braulio Rodriguez, trumpet player/backing vocalist Marc Sustaita, and guitarist/backing vocalist Dan Corona formed Braulio y Fuzzion in late 2010. The group has released a couple of singles, “Que Sera De Mi” and “Como Le Hago,” and are planning to release their debut album, “La Fuerza Del Destino,” in the very near future.

Baby Acapulco is located at 5610 North I-35, on the east side of I-35 on the southbound service road, across from Capital Plaza. The show starts at 7 p.m., there is no cover charge, and all ages are welcome. View the Facebook event here.
