In the short time Monterrey band Husky has been active, they’ve managed to score quite a few big-time deals. The band of regios, whose sound falls under bubblegum rock, have been busy touring México, succeeding in creating a passionate and loyal following. They have already played NRMAL FEST and have opened for English band Mystery Jets. Future plans include playing HELLOW FEST 2011 along with Empire of the Sun, Local Natives and other major indie bands.
After only a few months, Husky’s EP Weekend Lovers is already selling on iTunes. As in, iTunes U.S., iTunes México, iTunes Australia, iTunes Spain, iTunes France. These boys are nothing if not ambitious. Never underestimate pretty-boy Mexican musicians.
