Austin’s own DJ Orion of the Peligrosa All-Star DJs and Raw Word Records has just released his latest mixtape, Boombahchero, Vol I. The mixtape is a 30-track download that focuses mainly on moombahton, a genre of music originally created by American DJ Dave Nada. Moombahton tracks feature chopped up vocals, multi-layered acapellas, extended and enhanced build-ups, and various drums and percussion sounds.
