Milton Pacheco (aka Jaime Ainslie) has been playing bass with retro futuristic electro-rock band Plastilina Mosh for the past five years. You can also hear Pacheco sing lead vocals on the track “My Party” from the latest Plastilina Mosh album, All U Need Is Mosh. For those of you who were at our Austin Vida showcase at Stubb’s in March, you may recognize Pacheco as the bassist for Monterrey indie group, Sexy Marvin.
Besides playing bass for both bands, Pacheco has been traveling as a solo artist performing DJ sets as part of the “Ugly Non DJs” project along with Jonaz (Pmosh) and Eddie (Pmosh / ex-Jumbo). The Ugly Non DJs get people groovin’ on the dance floor with a DJ set featuring everything from rock, hip hop, electronica and tasty electropical rhythms. In the new new, the Johnny Milton EP, you may recognize many of the popular songs Pacheco samples that lie beneath the bass heavy beats.
