Preview: Juanita Ulloa and Javier de los Santos at Mexic-Arte

On June 19 at 2:00 pm, Mexic-Arte will be the stage for the operatic rancherita, Juanita Ulloa, and renowned classical guitarist Javier de los Santos. Ulloa and Santos met in Granada, Spain in 2010 and since then have been fusing traditional Ranchera and Mariachi songs with classical Spanish guitar and operatic vocals. Her style is one of a kind and will make for a nice change in your Sunday routine.

Selections will include: “Asturias (Albeniz),” “Recuerdos de la alhambra,” “Variaciones sobre una canción mexicana (G. Flores Mendez),” songs by Ponce, Granados, Serradell, Lara as well as ranchera favorites.
