World Music Night to benefit local nonprofits

August 30, 2010 By Austin Vida Staff

bembaFor a year now, Bemba Entertainment has brought its World Music Night residency to Momo’s Club in Austin. Every Tuesday evening, we’ve come to expect everything from Colombian cumbia to Brazilian tropical pop to Eastern European gypsy folk. And Bemba shows no signs of stopping this staple of excellent music.

From September to the end of the year, all World Music Nights will feature a nonprofit beneficiary. Admission will be raised to $7 (and $5 for those with student IDs). But 25 percent of your cover will be donated to a local nonprofit organization.

Below is a list of the beneficiaries with dates.
