Since last fall, Tuesdays have been World Music Night at Momo’s, thanks to sponsors KUT and our friend Brandon Badillo of Bemba Entertainment. On any given Tuesday at Momo’s starting at 8 p.m., you can see and hear music from all over the world. This Tuesday features two great Latino musicians with two distinctly different styles.
Arrive early for singer-songwriter Arthur Yoria. Many of our readers are familiar with Yoria as our own Alysha Hernandez shed some light on him last month in an in-depth interview. Yoria is also part of Monoceja, a new band that includes Yoria’s friend and fellow Colombian, Eduardo Fajardo (Edo, The Executive Life). We will be sure to bring you more on Monoceja soon, but in the meantime, check out our live video of Yoria as he performs “I Wouldn’t If I Were You”.
Also on Tuesday night is Austin’s best known violinist, Haydn Vitera. Vitera is also a talented vocalist and guitar player. He’s played with some of music’s biggest names and is looking forward to releasing a new album this spring. He’s set to go on at 10 p.m., so hang out after Yoria to listen to Vitera’s blend of Latin and modern rock. We will bringing you more on Haydn Vitera soon, but do check out our live video of Vitera performing at Ace’s Lounge last fall.
