Latin Music Month in Austin is next month. In May, the City of Austin celebrates what we celebrate everyday here at Austin Vida: Latin music and Latino musicians. In its third year, Pachanga has expanded into a two-day festival this year.
Healdiners inlcude Tejano artist Bobby Pulido, Austin’s Grupo Fantasma with special guest Larry Harlow and Colombian funk/hip-hop act Bomba Estereo (named Best Discovery from SPIN at SXSW 2010). Check out the full lineup below.
The fest begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 21, with one stage of music. On Saturday, the fest expands to three stages as well as Niño’s Rock Pachanga, the interactive kids festival that will feature an Annie Ray photo booth, Latin-inspired crafts and a kids stage with performances by Dávid Garza, Alejandro Vallejo and more.
