Join Dulce Bread & Book Shop for an evening of tasteful song, story and wine at the bookseller’s public launch and song tasting. Translator Teresa Carbajal Ravet started Dulce to create a cultural center to share her passion for literature, language and culture.

Dulce’s guests for the evening will have the opportunity to tour the unique Hill Country bookseller’s inventory of books, music and greeting cards while enjoying wine sharing and hor d’oeuvres. Then, attendees will be treated to the authentic sabor of the local Latino culture with a reading by Austin author Belinda Acosta and music by songstress Myrna Cabello and Daniel Cook.

Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket to sit on and a bottle of wine to share. The event starts at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23. Dulce Bread and Book Shop is located in Dripping Springs, only six minutes from the Nutty Brown Cafe. Directions will be sent out to those who RSVP. Click here to RSVP.
