Another feature film we’d like to spotlight for this year’s Cine Las Americas International Film Festival is Amor, Dolor y Viceversa, directed by Alfonso Pineda-Ulloa. According to the official bio, Amor, Dolor y Viceversa is “a story of love, pain, and vice versa.” The character of Consuelo has spent a year obsessing over a man who visits in her dreams like a knight in shining armor, to use a cliche. Meanwhile, Ricardo has been dreaming of Consuelo, but his dreams are nightmares that end in murder. Will the two meet in person as their dreams and realities become blurred together?
Amor, Dolor y Viceversa will be showing at Alamo Draft House South on Wednesday, April 28 at 9:45 p.m. The Alamo Draft House South is located at 1120 South Lamar. Fernando Rovzar and Daniel Rovzar of Lemon Films will be in attendance. For those without a festival pass, tickets be purchased here through www.brownpapertickets.com. Will call tickets may be picked up 30 minutes before the show. Brown Paper Tickets cannot guarantee seats for tickets not picked up 10 minutes prior to screening. An early arrival is advisable.
