Ecuadorian rock band Prime Ministers look to make their presence known here in the U.S. with the recent release of their new music video for their single “Take It Back.” The Brit-pop inspired English language track is off their upcoming Now, due out later this summer. The album will be their second full-length album and their North American debut. Both the song and album were produced and mixed by Max Heyes (Oasis, Paul Weller, Primal Scream).

Hailing from both South America and the Wynwood Art District (Miami), Prime Ministers first caught our attention in 2012 at South by Southwest when they were promoting their debut album, Take A Ride. The group has also garnered recent attention with their performances at Colombia’s Rock Al Parque and UK’s Great Escape Festival as well as recently sharing the stage with Santana. Prime Ministers are composed of Ernesto (guitar, piano, vocals), Chimo (drums), Pedro (bass and vocals) and Shaggy (guitar and vocals).
