San Diego-based B-Side Players make their return to Austin tonight for a Cinco De Mayo concert at Flamingo Cantina. The group is in the middle of a reggae bill with tour headliners from Hawaii, Natty Vibes. Austin-based faves and Flamingo Cantina regulars Ashes of Babylon round out the bands on the bill. DJ Anaya spins before and in-between sets.

Formed in 1994, B-Side Players is the musical brainchild of frontman Karlos “Solrak” Paez. Like many Latin Alternative bands today, their music is a bilingual fusion of multiple genres including reggae, funk and rock with traditional Latin rhythms. The group is performing in support of their latest release, Revolutionize.

The Flamingo Cantina is located at 515 East 6th Street. Doors open at 8 p.m. 21+ welcome. Advance tickets are available for this show here. Tickets will be available at the door for  $15. Visit the Facebook event page here.
