Brooklyn-based indie-pop group Balún recently released their new digital album, La Luna. This four-track album is the product of the band’s hard work. La Luna includes new singles “La Luna,” “Cuando Sea Grande,” “Distante,” and bonus track “Cuando Amanece,” an exclusive Bandcamp download. La Luna is now available for a free download. Listen to the EP below.

Originally formed in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Balún is composed of four talented musicians who share the same love for music, classical and folk instruments, movies and experimental pop music. After years of releasing much of their work through different labels, Balún released their first album Something Comes Our Way in 2006 through Brilliante Records. Their electro-pop sound in Something Comes Our Way set them apart from the bunch and caught the attention of the media. Since then, Balún has worked with artists from all over the world as well as performed at Decibel Fest in Seattle, NYC Pop Fest in New York and Pop Montreal in Canada, among others. They have also collaborated with Puerto Rican theatre company Y No Había Luz, and on a short film for DVD series PSST!.
