City of Austin Music Divison announces “HOPE FM Live! First Sundays” series

The City of Austin Music Division has announced the dates for its collaborative partnership with HOPE Farmers Market, a four-part concert series that will take place at East Austin’s Plaza Saltillo. Titled HOPE FM Live! First Sundays, this series will feature free live performances from some of Austin’s best Latin bands. Each event will feature a performance at both 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. with the first performer tying into the Music Division’s Music for Kids programming.

The series will take place over the course of four months beginning June 2 with Groundwork Music Orchestra and Mariachi Relampago, July 7 will feature Walter Tragert and Money Chicha, Aug. 4 will feature Gina Chavez and Cilantro Boombox, and Sept. 1 will feature Lucan Miller and Como Las Movies.

Plaza Saltillo is located at 412 Comal Street. All ages are welcome. The plaza was inaugurated by a visiting delegation from Austin’s Sister City of Saltillo, Mexico, for which it was named. Visit the official Facebook even page here.
