Friday June 7, the Austin Latino Music Association (ALMA) presents this year’s Sonidos Del Barrio program at the Austin Moose Lodge. The annual event honors individuals for their contributions to Austin’s Latino music and also features a showcase of local talent.

This year’s honorees for the “Idolos Del Barrio Award” include Leonard Davila, Manny Estrada, Ben Moncivais, Manny Garcia, Al “Skeeter” Amesquita, Margarita Muñoz Simon, Inez Ramos Salas, Lucia Perez, and Carol Perkins.
