[5/17] Preview: Jaime y Los Chamacos at Tejano Ranch

Totally Tejano Fridays continue Friday, May 17, at Tejano Ranch with Jaime y Los Chamacos. The San Antonio powerhouse will bring their high octane stage show to the north Austin Tejano club, offering a night of conjunto classics and new recordings.

It’s been 25 years since they were chamacos, but Jaime De Anda and the guys still have the same energy and charisma they did when they first started, and their fans still love them just as much as they did then. Their career has included numerous Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations, two Tejano Music Awards, and hits like “Yolanda,” “Como Te Llamas Paloma,” “Ex-Novia,” and “Pajaro Negro.”

Long story short: A great band with solid musical credentials with a great following makes for an awesome show. Conjunto power!

Tejano Ranch is located at 7601 North Lamar, just south of Highway 183 in north Austin. The doors open at 8 p.m. The cover charge is $10 before 9 p.m, and $12 cover after 9 p.m. 18+ are welcome. Visit the event page on Facebook here.
