Caracas,Venezuela-based Los Mesoneros formed in 2006 when a group of friends, fueled by their passion for making music, came together to start a rock band. Since then the alt-rock quintet represented Venezuela in a Los Hombres G concert and toured all the major cities in their native country. Los Mesoneros is composed of Luis Jimenez (vocals/guitar), Andrés Belloso (bass), Carlos Sardi (synthesizers) and brothers Juan Ignacio (vocals/guitar) and Andres Sucre (drums).

Venezuela is just the beginning for this band. With an EP and a full length album under their belt, the band is setting their sights on the rest of the Americas. Miami has already developed a taste for their music with two packed shows this past June that marked the release of their full-length album, Indeleble. The album was produced by Héctor Castillo, known for working with Gustavo Cerati and David Bowie. The 11-track album was recorded in Caracas but mixed and mastered in New York. The album also won the Best Rock Album of the Year award at the Premios Pepsi Music 2012.
