Alex Anwandter to release ‘Rebeldes’ on Nacional Records

It’s taken Chilean artist Alex Anwandter a couple of musical transitions to arrive at his modern-day house music reminiscent of ‘80s dance. First he was a member of the indie rock band Teleradio Donoso, then he moved on to his solo project Odisea, but now he has dropped the pseudo name and is known for his infectious electro-pop and vivid live shows.

Alex Anwandter solidifies his international music career with the release of his latest album, Rebeldes, out June 26 via Nacional Records. As the first album under his real name, he will celebrate his debut with two performances at the Latin Alternative Music Conference this summer. The album’s opening song and music video, “Como Puedes Vivir Contigo Mismo?”, pays homage to the documentary, Paris is Burning, about the drag scene in New York during the ‘80s.
