On Friday, November 16, it is time again for the biggest and baddest Latin DJ crew take over Red 7. Peligrosa’s monthly residency is known as one of the best Latin dance parties in the country. Peligrosa spins the best music from Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa with an electronic twist. Led by DJ Orion, Peligrosa is Manolo Black, DJ Dus (Corpus Christi), Pagame, Sonora (San Antonio) and King Louie. The crew also features friends VJ 4th Wall for visual projections that accompany the music and photographer Marcos Molina, aka Comandante Quito.
Joining Peligrosa this Friday will be Bay area DJ Shawn Reynaldo from Tormenta Tropical in San Francisco. Reynaldo is also the bossman at Bersa Discos, a record label that began in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is now based in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California. A long time Peligrosa homie, Reynaldo will be throwin’ down his own brand of tropical bass and electro-cumbia.
Red 7 is located at 611 East 7th Street. Attendees will enter in the alley way entrance. Doors open at 9 p.m. 21+ are welcome. $5 cover for 21+ and $7 for 18+. Visit the event post on Facebook here.
