Giveaway: Zechs Marquise at Antone’s concert tickets

El Paso prog/fusion rock band Zechs Marquise is no stranger to Austin. The instrumental quintet has been making our city a tour stop for years, and it’s always a mindblowing experience when the band graces an Austin stage.

Zechs Marquise will be making their Antone’s debut this Friday, Dec. 9, and we have free tickets to give away to our readers. Watch as Marcos Smith, Matt Wilkson and the brothers Rodriguez-Lopez (Marfred, Marcel and Rikardo) melt faces and tear the stage to shreds with a fiery sound that blends influences from progressive rock, fusion, funk and hip-hop.

We will be giving away one free pair of tickets this Friday on our Facebook page. To qualify to win, just click LIKE whenever you see the link to this post on our Facebook Wall. We will draw the winning name on Friday morning.

The band is touring in support of their new album, Getting Paid. Watch a video below of Zechs performing the song “Everlasting Beacon of Light” live at Emo’s.

Local post-rock band Equals and electro hip-hop duo Parking kick things off. Doors open at 9 p.m., and tickets are $10 the door or $8 on the Antone’s website.
