(8/26) Preview: Umano Aché at Esquina Tango

Umano Aché formed in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, México in late 2004. Their music is a fusion of cumbia, hip hop, salsa, merengue and rock. The band has shared the stage and played alongside artists like Austin’s own Grupo Fantasma, El Gran Silencio, Plastilina Mosh, Los Skarnales, Los Claxons, Danzonera Distortion Club, La Sonora Dinamita, Salomon Robles and La Costumbre. Umano Aché is currently in studio recording their debut album and will be available at the end of 2011.

On Friday, August 26, Umano Aché will be performing in Austin at Esquina Tango. This will be one of two shows the band is playing this weekend while here in Austin. The show begins at 9:00pm and attendees are encouraged to bring their own beverage. Cover is $8. Visit the official event page on Facebook here and on Do512 here.
