‘Super WHY Live’ arrives at the Long Center for first time

Based off the Emmy-nominated preschool TV series that airs nationwide on PBS KIDS, Super WHY Live: You’ve Got the Power is coming to Austin for the first time for their Spring 2013 tour. The show was written by Super WHY creator Angela Santomero and is accompanied with music by Jack Antonoff, a member of the Grammy-nominated band “Fun.” Super WHY Live: You’ve Got the Power is produced by S2BN Entertainment in collaboration with Out of the Blue Enterprises. S2BN Entertainment is known to have produced Rock of Ages: The Musical and Spider-Man on Broadway as well as Yo Gabba Gabba! Live.

The show will be featured in 26 other cities nationwide throughout the months of April and May. Super WHY Live: You’ve Got the Power will take the audience inside a book to find the answer to the question, “Who has the Greatest Super Power in the World?” in efforts to educate and entertain kids and parents alike. During the live reading adventure, kids’ will get to follow along with popular characters, who have literary powers, such as Alpha Pig who has “Alphabet Power,” Wonder Red who has “Word Power,” Princess Presto who has “Spelling Power,” and Super Why who has the “Power to Read.”

Super WHY Live: You’ve Got the Power will be at the Long Center for the Performing Arts on Apr. 15 starting at 6 p.m. Tickets go on sale February 1 at 10 a.m. on www.C3Concerts.com. Party packages are also offered which include special seats and a meet and greet with the characters after the show. For those who would like to sing-along during the show, the soundtrack album Super WHY Live: You’ve Got the Power Soundtrack from Razor & Tie is available on iTunes, Amazon, and retailers nationwide.
