Mexic-Arte to hold screening of ‘Santo en la Frontera de Terror’

Mexic-Arte museum will be holding a screening of the film Santo en la Frontera de Terror on April 3 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Starring in the film is El Santo, a famed Mexican luchador and actor. Admission is free for members and $5 for non-members.

Currently the museum is holding two exhibitions until May 26 including Masked, where you can see showcases on Mexican dance and popular masks, and Unmasked: Lucha Libre which explores the history, practice and popularization of Lucha Libre, otherwise known as Mexican wrestling.

It has been Mexic-Arte museum’s mission is to enrich culture and education through the presentation and promotion of tradition contemporary Mexican, Latino, and Latin American Art since their founding in 1984 and it is designated as the official Mexican and Mexican-American Art museum of Texas.
