‘THE LION KING’ returns to Bass Concert Hall Jan. 16

Disney’s THE LION KING is returning to Bass Concert Hall starting Wednesday, January 16 and running all the way through Sunday February 10. On January 17 there will be a Kids’ night which will include pre-show activities starting at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby before the performance which is at 8 p.m. For Kids’ Night children under the age of 12 will receive a free ticket with the purchase of one full price adult ticket. Kids’ Night will give children the opportunity to make masks and receive autographs from the cast members.

Entering its sixteenth year, THE LION KING has become highest-grossing Broadway show in history. It has been translated into eight different languages and seen by over 65 million people. It has also won various awards, most recently seven 2012 Spanish Musical Theatre Awards, including Best Musical. For more information visit THE LION KING website.

THE LION KING performances will be Tuesday through Friday evenings at 8 p.m,. Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with a special matinee performance on Thursday, January 17 at 1:00pm.
