Latinitas Spring Break camp for young Latinas hosts local, worldwide musicians

Latinitas next project is during the week of South by Southwest (SXSW) at their annual Spring Break camp where they can interview film, musical and interactive celebrities without having to have the SXSW all-access pass. At the camp, girls will be able to perform activities such as blogging, creating music videos, and even participating in a flash mob and seeing live performances from musicians visiting for SXSW.

Apart from doing interviews on campsite, girls who participate in the camp will be able to conduct street interviews, photography projects, and vox pop interviews at the Austin Convention Center.

Girls between the ages of 9 to 14 interested in music, writing, production, or who just want to go for the experience can sign up for the Latinitas’ Spring Break Camp at The camp will be held at the Latinitas’ Austin headquarters located on 1107 S. 8th Street Austin, TX 78704 Monday thru Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $200 for the week, but there are scholarships available just by filling out the application.
