Becker Elementary School to hold Pachanga Dance Party

Tonight is the second annual Pachanga Dance Party presented by the Parent Teacher Association of Becker Elementary School. DJ El John Selector and Flamencura Music and Dance group will be helping with the party which will be happening to showcase Becker Elementary’s dual-language program. Becker Elementary School is one of the few schools in the Austin Independent School District with a bidirectional dual-language program. Teachers implement the dual 50/50 program with the aim that the students be bilingual in speech as well as academically.

Parents and children of all ages are invited to participate in the Pachanga Dance Party. Along with the music and dancing there will be food, Valentine’s Day themed arts and crafts which are sponsored by, and a photo booth to capture the party.

Pachanga Dance Party starts this Friday at 5:00 p.m. at Becker Elementary School located at 906 West Milton St. Austin, TX 78704. It will be ending at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the even is free.
